Guardian Operator Safety Bandsaws
The Guardian Bandsaw has been designed from the ground up with a 3D Vision Technology™ safety system, reducing serious injuries in the meat processing industry. Traditional contact sensing only activates after the operator makes contact, the Guardian anticipates danger and prevents injuries before they occur.
Four cameras constantly monitor the blade for a specific coloured glove, creating a virtual safety zone. The moment a glove enters this zone, the bandsaw stops instantly — preventing the operator’s hand from ever reaching the blade.
